His Excellency the Governor and tho Countess of Liverpool have gone into residence at Government House, Auckland, which is now occupied: for the first time, since tho fire in July last. Mr A. G. Sherwood representative of the Dunlop Rubber Company of Australasia (Ltd.), is at present in Drmedin. Tho death has occurred (says a Press Association from Napier) of Mr George Rymor, aged 73 years. ■ He took part in thn CJabrir-1 Gully rush. For many years he had conducted iin rxtoneivp coacliins sorvifo t-brousrhout Hawkp's Bay. An Auckland Association mesfa<re states that Mr James Ro : d. one of the original members of fli« Rto~k Exchange, died! yesterday. ac°d 80 years.
