LAGNICOURT.

The Petit Parisien states that lour German divisions participated in the enemy's counter-attacks at the Bapaume-Canibrai road., attempting to recapture important points. This was the most ambitious programme undertaken for months, as the enemy have hitherto merely attempted to stop the allied advance. The fighting was extremely fierce and When Lagnicourt (opposite Queaiit) was partly loat, important Brititih -einforceraents, supported by formidable artillery, rushed into the flaane and smoke, captured the village, and re-established the line.
