RECOGNITION OF THE NAVY.

CAPETOWN, April 15. At the South African Party Congress Mr Nolan announced that the Union Government had decided to grant the Imperial Government £1,000,000, in recognition of the protection afforded by the British Navy, by reason of which South African proceeded as usual.
