DUNDAS STREET METHODIST CIRCUIT.
_ Tho quarterly meeting of tho Dundas Street. Methodist Circuit was held oti Wednesday, tho Rev. S. Griffith presiding. Plio members' roll showed a slight increase, and the ii n;u ici; l .l statement "was satisfactory. In connection with Foreign Missions, tlio Chairman announced that a forward movement had been inaugurated by conference with a view to increasing tho contribution from New oZaland this year to £10,000, and stated that next month tho Rev. R. Nicholson, an experienced missionary from the Solomon Islands, would \ysit Duncdin. Tho work of Sunday schools and Young People's Societies was reviewed, and emphasis laid on tho need for Sunday school visitors. Tho campaign for spiritual advanco enjoined by conference was adopted, and it was resolved to hold a special meeting at an early dato to consider the question. In view of the alteration of circuit boundaries sanctioned by conference, Glenaven is now transferred to the Trinity circuit. In taking leavo of tho Glenaven officials, the superintendent referred to the cordial relations which had existed between Glc-aaven and the rest of tho circuit, and expressed regret that for convenience of working Dundas Street Circuit was now parting W r r.i ° n;lvon ' P- Williams, on behalf of Glenaven, made a cordial response.
