AUCKLAND CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL

FOUNDATION STONE LAID. (Per United Peess Association.) DANNEVIRKE, April 14. Tho Governor laid tho foundation stone to-day of tho .Children's Hospital beingerected by the Auckland Hospital Board at a total cost, including equipment, of about £24,000. The building has been designed for 70 beds, but there will bo ample accommodation for 100 cots. In the course of a speech, the Hon. G. W. Russell stated that 7500 children were treated in the public hospitals of the dominion in 1915.
