STOP WORK MEETING (Peiu United Press Ausociation.) "WISIiLIjSJGTON, April 14. A largely-attended stop-work meeting of tho Wellington Waterside Workers' Union was held to-day, at which it was decided to toko a ballot of tho members of tho unions affiliated with tho New Zealand Waterside Workers' Federation on the question as to whether the agreement, arrived at by tho rccent conference of employers and watersiders' representatives bo accepted or rejected. Tho ballot takes place on Monday and Tuesday. Resolutions were also passed requesting tho Governor to review the sentence passed on Oliver. Noakes, and sympathising with the coal miners on strike.
