The Tarawera is due hero to-morrow from Auckland, via East Coast ports, and will sail on Friday on the return journey. ■> The Rosamond is duo here early this morning from Bluff, and will loavo in the afternoon for Wellington direct. Tho Kini is at present en route for Timaru and Dunedin, with a cargo of coal from Greymouth. She is due here towards the end of tho week.

■ : Tho Corinna is expected to leave Welling•;ton on Friday with a full cargo for Duncdxn. She will sail on Monday for New Plymouth, via way ports. The Kahika sailed for Wellington last . evening, taking with her a cargo of stud oattle, these being principally Polled Angus j ere^or< te' She will aftorwards proceed to Picton to load for Gisborne. Tho Kowhai was brought out of dock at Port Chaimers yesterday morning, and camc ■up to Duncdia to load general cargo for Wellington. She sailed lato at night for her destination.

. :The last vessel to reach Wellington from San Francisco brought 1317 tons of cargo, including 1200 cases Californian oranges 40 cases grapefruit, 246 kits and 5529 cases bananas, 2144 cases Rarotongan oranges, 11 tons canned fruit, 157 tons dried fruit, 45 tons bottles, 90 tons rubber goods, 7 tons sheet zinc, 48 tons roofing material, 137 tons oil, 23 tons paint, a quantity of periodicals, and 8 cases automobiles.

Wellington is shortly to hg.vo another vessel added to its black fleet, it having been decided to put into commission as a hulk the barque Lille, which was dismantled at Adelaide, purchased by the Union Company, and towed to Wellington shortly before the war. The work of dismantling and converting the vessel has been greatly delayed by tho shortage of labour, but arrangements have now been put in hand for the vessel to go on tho patent slip to have Aer hull attended to.
