OCTAGON AND KING EDWARD THEATRES, r

One of tho pictures that show the best uses to which tha art of kinematograph'y can be put forms the essential part of the programme at the Octagon and King EdwaTd Theatres this week. It is entitled "Britain Prepared," and illustrates in most vivid and effective fashion the tremendous weapons that the nation now possesses in her army and navy and aerial fleet. QUEEN'S THEATRE. Mollie King is the surprise of "Fate's Boomerang," to be shown at the New Queen's Theatre to-day. She is tho " little Mother of the Hills," and ■ soon captures the heart of the hero. The story is full of strong situations. The scene in which tho drunken driver causes the death of himself and his passengers is a wonderful piece of work. Tho supporting cast is strong, and completes a gpod programme. PLAZA THEATRE. Good audiences were present at .the Plaza Theatre during yesterday afternoon and evening, when the current fine programme was repeated. "The Three Godfathers" is the leading film, and it is well supported. EVERYBODY'S THEATRE. The programme at Everybody's Theatre features Theda Bara in " East Lynne," a William Fox production of unusual merit. Tho Mysteries of Myra" series is continued, and there are a number of good support^ EMPIRE THEATRE. \ " A Man and His Soul" is still being well received at tho Emp ; ro Theatre. The story gives ample opportunities to Francis Bushman and Beverley Bayne. Other go id pictures are also shown.
