WAR LOAN INVESTMENTS
THE LATEST FIGURES. The Hon. Arthur M. Myers (Acting Minister of Finance) has submitted the fo.--lowmg figures in connection with the sale of war loan certificates:— Up to January 23 the total sales of war loan certificates amounted to £1,214,380. Ihis total was made up by the sale of 97.655 £1 certificates, of the value of £78,12*, and 143,032 £10 certificates, of the value of £1,136,256. "On .November 16," Mr Myers stated, I had occasion to publish a return showing the investment in war loan certificates pec head of population for the following live cities.
