Although there is not a large quantity of wheat offering millers aro buying odd lines of Tuscan, either straight out at 5s 6d at country stations, or subject'to the Government prico if fixed. It is expected that in conference with the Canterbury wheatgrowers on Thursday tho Minister of Agriculture will state his intentions with regard to the price of wheat and flour. Farmers who have been offering their wheat say the yields havo been very disappointing. There are no oats offering, and littlo grass seed. For feed oats about 2s 5d at country station is offered, but more would be paid) for heavy seed lines of Algerians, Gartons, or Duns.
