NAUMAI CLUB.
The Nauroai dub met at the Y.W.C.A. rooms on Sunday evening, with a fair attendance. A short talk was given by Miss L. Hercus, who is at present visiting Dunedin, after an absence of 12 months -in Sydney, where, she said, there are two large buildings—one the hostel, which aocommodates 70 girls, the other building accommodating 20—each having a' cafeteria. At the time of her arrival in Sydney, there were 16 students, including four New Zealanders. The lecturers were very highly esteemed, and the tone of the lectures would live long in the minds of the hearers. Miss Barnes, dur'n»r +h" tf-ni, endeared herself very much to those who were studying.
