AFTER SECRET INFORMATION.
LONDON, April 11,
A sensational case under the Defence of the Realm Act is being heard at Sheffield. Albert Bright was charged with attempting to secure information from the Vickers Company of the recent ingredients of armour-plate, shells, and guns. It is alleged that Bright offered Brooks, a workman, £100 for the information. Brooks pretended to accept' the bribe, but disclosed the offer to Mr Vickers, who arranged a trap. Detectives arrested Bright with written information in his possession. The case was heard in camera, after the opening statement had been made.
