ROYAL LIFE-SAYING SOCIETY
On Thursday evening in the Y.M.C.A. Baths, Mr C. R. S. Roberts (examiner of tho Iloyal Life Saving Society) examined the following candidates for tho bronze medallion arid thu proficiency certificate: — William S. Stewart, C. Rao Caffin, Stanley G. Paris, and Augustus C._ W. Rcsticaux. All the candidates passed with credit, every one having a good all-round knowledge of the work, and they were particularly good in tho water work.
