THE GENERAL SITUATION.
A. HOPEFUL MOTE. LONDON, November 19. (Repeived Nov. 19, at 11.20 p.m.) In the House of Commons Mr Bonar Law said it would be unwise to tell all the facts concerning the situation in Serbia, but he might say that in spite of what had happened in the Near East he was more hopeful now than for many months. Things were not going so badly as they seemed to be.
