Messrs Alex. Harris and Co. yesterday submitted at auction freehold properties in Caversham in the estate of the late Mr W. Smyth. Part sections 2 and 4, Keystone, fronting the Main South road, with a five-roomed house, etc., 66ft by 92ft, was sold to Mr J. Green for £200; section 12, township of St. Andrews, fronting Playfair street, with dwelling thereon, was sold to a client for £75. The auctioneers further report a successful sale of the large collection of rare native and foreign birds in tho same estate.
