MEETING.
The annual meeting of the Mosgiel branch of the Women's Christian Temperance Union was held on Tuesday. Mrs Bedford presided, and there was a large attendance of members. The report and balanco sheet were adopted. The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Mrs Pinfold; vice-presidents, Mesdames Kinmont, Aitken, Kirk, and Aecersole; secretary, Mrs Wilson; treasurer, Mrs Accersole; white ribbon agent, Mrs Morton.
