PENINSULA ROAD BOARD.
The regular meeting of the, Peninsula Road Board was held on Saturday, and was attended by Messrs J. Fairbairn (chairman), R. Black, J. Aitken, and T. Landreth. Mrs Juy wrote requesting the board to eflect some repairs on No. 3 road.—The chairman and clerk to inspect and report at next meeting. The surfaceman was instructed to effect several repairs on the Main road, Sandymount, and to place metal where required, and also ■to blind all the metal and clean the water tables. The board decided to pay 2s per 100 for bird eggs and heads. The' board then adjourned till February 5, the chairman and clerk to attend to all work, and pay accounts during the interval. Accounts amounting to £32 3s 2d were passed. for payment.
