Mr Philip May Parcell applied to select on the renewable lease system an estimated area of 50 acres of land in block I, Bannoekburn district.— Declined. Mr George Webb applied to select, without competition, under section 13d of " The Land Act, 1908," on the renewable lease system, sections 11 and 12, blook I, Silver Peak district, containing an aggregate area of 137 acres.—Approved, in accordance with the warden's report, subject to the Minister's approval. Mr Joseph Kitto applied for an occupation lease over the tailings reserve and residence area (live acres) on the eastern side of the northern portion of section 5, block V, Wakefield district. —Resolved to submit for report by warden and ranger. Petition from settlers in .Otanomomo Settlement for a remission of postponed rent. — Resolved that there is no power to grant a remission, but, that Minister be recommended to approve of further postponement of rents already postponed for further 12 months.

It was decided that the meetings of the board for 1916 should bo held on the following dates, which fall on a Wednesday in each case: —January 12, February 9, March 8, April 12, May 10, June 7, July 12, August 9, September 13, October 11, November 8, December 13.
