For Wellington and Main Trunk offloc*, daily at 6.30 a.m. Lete fees, C.P.0., 7.40 a.m., mail van 8 a.m. Also, supplementary mails at 10.30 a.m. Late fees, C.P.O. 10.45 a.m. Guard's van 11.14 a.m. For Palmerston, Oamaru, tWaimaie, Temuka, Timaru, Ashburton, Christchurch, Westport, overland daily, at 6.30 a.m. (late letters C.P.O. 7.40 a.m., mail van 8 a.m.), and at ,10.30 a.m. (late letters C.P.O. 10.45 a.m., guard's van 11,14 a.m.). United _ Kingdom and Continent of Europe, via Montevideo and Tencriffe, per Arawa, from Wellington, by North Express at 10 a.m. Late-fee letters C.P.O. 10.30 a.m., and guard's van at 11.14 a.m. Parcels mail closes on Saturday, 13th inst., at 4- p.m.

Mails for Rarotonga, Tahiti, United States of America, Canada, West India, Central America, United Kingdom, and Continent of Europe, per Moana, via San Francisco (due in London December 12), will close at Wellington on Thursday, 11th inst., at 1 p.m.

Mails for Australian States, Expeditionary Force (Egypt), Ceylon, India. Chirfa, Japan, Straits Settlements. South Africa, Continent of Europe, and United Kingdom" (duo London December 22), per Manuka, will close at Wellington on Thursday, 11th inst., at 3.30 p.m. Money orders for Dlaces within the dominion close one hour before advertised time of closing letter mails. Money orders for places beyond the dominion for despatch by the North or South Express close at 4 p.m. the previous day. The late fee is Id in addition to ordinary postage. _ The late-fee box on Second Nortn Express is available for letters only. Registered mails close ope hour before advertised time of closing ordinary mails. Book packets, commercial papers, and newspapers close half an hour beforo tee advertised time of letter mails. Wa.
