KAITANGATA NOTES.
IFbom Oub Own Correspondent.) KAITANGATA, November 27. The School Committee met on Tuesday, all the members being present. The head master reported a roll number of 393, the average attendance being 90 for the month. It was agreed to erect a cupboard in the ! school to hold the band music and instru--1 mcnts. Mr Mcehaclis and Mr J. O. Shore -.vere authorised to select prizes for the break-up function, to bo held on December 18. Mr Marshall donated the dux medal for this year, for which ho was thanked. The school is to be closed for Balclutha Show Day (December 4) and Election Day. The weather took a change for the worse last night-, and rain has- fallen practically ever since. It will do a lot of good, as it is badly needed.
