Talisman Coneolidateds advanocd in piioe on Saturday. Buyers rose from £1 8s 3d to £1 9s, with no sellers under £1 9s 9d. A sale was reported at £1 9s 3d. Waihis wore firmer. Shares were placed on the market at £2, with buyers up to £1 18s. Waihi Grand Junctions had firmer inquiry at £1 4s 6d, with sellers asking £1 5a 3d. There was renewed demand for National Banks at £5 2s 6d, without sellers. Bank of New Zealands were unchanged. Union fclteams had buyers at £1 Is 6d (ordinary) and £1 Oβ 3d (preference), but sellers were unquoted. Sellers of Westport Coals offered to do business at £1 lls, without response from buyere.
