The Mexican elections resulted in the return of Htierta and the re-election of practically all the members of Congress. Only a few voters polled, indifference being shown everywhere.

Tho revolt of a large number of Federal troops stationed in front of the American outposts is reported. A fear is expressed that Huerta may send a, punitive expedition against the mutineers, lit orVler to prevent a. clash, Caxran/.a's agent has crossed itho lines in the hope of avoiding any action within the range of the American lines.
