Moritzson and Co., National Mortgage and Agency Company, Ltd., Now Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., Otapro Farmers' Co-operative Association, Ltd., Donald Reid and Co., Ltd., Stronach, Morris, and Co., Ltd., and Wright, Stephenson, and Co., Ltd) report a* follows: — At this week's sale there was a full gathering of buyers, and bidding was very keen for all classes of skins. Prices paid were right up to "values nil ing- at last week's auction. Quotations: Best halfbred, 9|d to 9gd: fine crosabreds, to 9gd; best crossbreds, %d to 9id; coarse crossbreds. to 9ed; three-quarterbreds, £|d to 9d ; halfbred dead 8d to Bid; cro'ssbrcd dead. 7£d to 7gd; best merino, ?d to Bid; pelts, ,7|d to 8d; medium, 6id to 7d; best lambs, to B|d; medium, 7jd to Bid. The monthly sale of wool was also held yesterday, when catalogues totalling approximately 250 bales were submitted. Included in the offering were some choice lots of scoured and washed wool, the former realising up to 17Jd per lb and the latter to All tho catalogues were clearer! under very spirited competition at prices well in advance of thoso paid at laet month's sale.
