I In the House of Lords, Lord Louth moved the second reading of a Bill providing that hotels should be closed on Sunday except for three hours between noon and 10 in the evening in the provinces, and four hours between noon and 11 in London; also, extending the distance bona fide travellers have to compass from three to j six miles. He raged that every country which had the blessing of Sunday closing s wished to continue it. * ] The division on the motion resulted :— For rejection, 198; against, 176; and the measure was lost. , ,
