Friday, Octobee 10. (Beforo Messrs S. S. Myers and J. Braithwaite, J.P.'s) Drunkenness—Thos. Buddicombo was fined 10s,* in default 48 tours' imprisonment, for drunkenness in Braemar street, Souih Duncilin, on October 9.—John Edward Cowan pleaded " Guilty " to a charge of drunkenness, and "Not guilty 1 ' to assaulting Constable Munro whilo in tho oxeoUtion of hjs duty on Octobor 9, and to damaging his shako —On the firat charge he •was fined ss, with tho alternative of 24 horn's' imprisonment, and on tho 6ccond ,ho was fined 20s, or soven days' imprisonment, and or4ered to pay the damage done to the constable's, uniform, A week was given him in which to pay tiho fine.—A first offender was fined sa, in default 24 hours' imprifionment.—Patrick Nicholson wtfs remanded for seven days for medical treatment. Alleged Theft.—Angus Pollock appeared on remand on a charge of robbing William Douglas Tannahill of £5 and one silver watch, valued at £4, and with using personal violence towards Tannahill.—Chief Defective Herbert applied for a.further remand until Monday, whioh was granted.
