BEQUESTS DECLARED VOID., Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. MELBOURNE, September L (Received Sept. 1, at 8.25 p.m.) Mt C. L. Forrest, .an, ex-member cf Parliament, died a year ago, leaving an estate valued at £103,137, of which over £80,000 was bequeathed to create a trust for charitable and philanthropic purposes. Mr Charles L. Forrest, a nephew of the deceased, as the only next of kin, sought the court's ruling as to whether the trust was void on the ground of uncertainty. . The Chief ? Justice, in ' delivering the court's judgment, declared that Mr Forrest died intestate and the whole trust" was void for its uncertainty. The whole of the money, therefore, will go to the nephew on his clearly establishing that he is the sole next of kin.
