Efforts are being- made to heal the breaeh, in the Liberal ranks, but Mr Watt declares that he will not accept any compromise. Ho prefers to fight to a'finish. It is reported that the other members of tlm Ministry have intimated to Mr Watt that their resignations arc ready to be put, in his hands at any time.
