POLICE RAID.
QUANTITY OF LIQUOR SEIZED. (Pbb United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, July 22. The police raided premises in Wyndham street on Sunday night and seized a quantity of liquor. They took the names of 16 persons, 11 of whom said they were boarders. It is alleged that when the police entered the premises four men were being served with beer, and that one man was being dragged, helplessly drunk, into another room. The premises were used as a boaring-house.
