A parcel of Now South Wales honey, realising a price equivalent to 3|d f.0.b., is so good in quality that Mr Coghlan, Agent-general for New South Wales, intends to enter it for competition in a dairy show against English honey. SYDNEY, July 23. Tho local office of the Peninsular and Oriental Steamship Company has not been informed of any reason for discontinuing the Auckland-Sydney service. MELBOURNE, July 23. Tho imports for the Commonwealth for the half-year ended June 30 totalled £37,123,659, being a decrease of £565,921, and the exports were £30,088,347, or a dccci'aec of £3,204,171, as compared with the corresponding half of last year.
