DUNEDIN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.
A special meeting of the Chamber of Coinmcrcc Committee, held yesterday afternoon, was attended by Messrs John Loudon (president), J. W. Henton, G. R. Ritchie, E. F. Duthie, G. W. Gibson, 11. W. Airey, W. F. Sligo, and D. M'Pherson. The resignation of Mr John Scott was rereceived. . Mr J. Neville Ritchie waa unanimously electer a member of the chamber. The secretary (Mr'P. Barr) submitted a draft of the annual report for the year ending June 30 last, with a statement of and expenditure, and these, after discussion, were approvod, with some slight amendments and additions. In accordance with t.he articles of Association, it wae decided that Messrs G. W. Gibson, W. Gow, J. W. Henton, D. M'Pherson, and A. H. Fisher would retire from ofEoe at the annual mooting, and that nominations to fill tho vacancics so created would be invited. by advertisement.
