YOUTHFUL BURGLARS.

"the story of the adventure was told by the bovs. ' One, aged 11 years, met the othor two lads (brothers aged 10 and nine vcars respectively) on Sunday morning and uyplained to them the possibilities of the burglary. The three lads went up the lojie to the' back door of Levy's shop and by means of a broken spade prised the back door- till the hasp of the bolt inside was burst oIT. This allowed the door to open about an inch, exposing an iron bar 'which wilt, lying in the socket across the back of the door. With a picce of tin they lifted the bar out of its socket and so gained an entrance to the shop There they too]; the articles mentioned. After inquiring into the circumstances of the parents anil the children his Worship committed the eldest to the Burnhiim Industried School and the others to the Takapuna School with, a recommendation that the latter two'be allowed out on probation in the meantime. ,
