The Dunedin Woolbrokers' Association (Messrs Dalgety and Co., A. Morftzson and Co., National Mortgage and Agency Company, New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ot&go Fanners Co-operative Association, Donald Reid and Co., Stronach, Morris and Co, and Wright. Stephenson and Co. report as follows:—There was a fair attendance of buyers at the sales yesterday, when small catalogues were submitted. Competition was not bo keen as at last woek's sale, and all inferior and dead lots of skins sold at id per lb cheaper, but, prices for all good conditioned skins were on a par with last sate nates. Quotations: Best halfbreds, 9d to 9}d; medium, Bjd to B|d; befit fine ercesbreds, B|d to Bjfd; best crossbreds, Bld to B|d; medium, 7|d to 8d; thce-quarterbreds, 7jd to Bjd. Best lambskins. B|d to Bid; medium, B|d to 8j;d; halfbred, dead, to 8d; crossbred, dead, 6|d to 7-Jd. Best pelts, to 6?d; medium, 53d to 63d; merino, best, to B|d; medium, 6d to 7|d.
A London cablegram states that silver is quoted at 27 l-16d poroz.
