—It is; announced that Philadelphia is to possess a special aviation hotei, which is at present in process of' construction. The building will be crowncd by a hugfl terrace, which will servo as a garago and landiuc-stage. It will bo so arranged that descent upon the terrace will bo a comparatively easy matter, and will reliovo intending visitors from tho necessity of undua manoeuvring. Tho dimensions of the ter. race will be about 150 ft in length and 50ft in breadth, which may bo enlarged at will by tho extension of a movablo platform mechanically propelled, bringing tho total length to nearly 250 ft.
