Negotiations for the purchase of two ferry steamers by the Eastbourne Borough Council ifrom tlho Wellington Harbour Ferries were practically completed to-day. The Eastbourne Council will, therefore, bo shortly carrying on a municipal harbour passenger-carrying concern.
