Not less than half of this last amount is to bo paid on account of recognised claws for agricultural purposes. With reference to the other properly tho bill proposes lluil tho Hospital Board imiv noil and tho Auckland Education Hoard purchase tho feo simple at a prico agreed upon by tho two boards and approved by tho Minister of Education. Tho purchase price is to bo paid to the Hospital Board by tho Public Trustee from tho revenue derived from the first-mentioned reserve. On completion of the purchase the land is to lie held in trust as a playground for tho public scliools of Auckland, except Urot a portion of tho land not exceeding two acres may l>o set apart by tho board for tho purposes of agricultural instruction.
