The Commonwealth has rejected the terms offered by the New South Wales Government regarding the GovernorGeneral's Sydney residence, and as New Smith Wales refuses to modify her demands, the negotiations have come to
Lord Dennian will leave Sydney shortly, and the State Government will thereupon take possession, throw the grounds open to the public, and decide subsequently what to do.with the vice-regal residence.
