MURDER IN GENOA
TISAM CONDUCTOR SHOT DEAD. LIVELY FIGHT WITH POLICE. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. ROME, September 5. (Received Sept. 5, at 11.15 p.m.) A tram conductor at Genoa followed three men who had failed to pay their fares. Tho latter shot the conductor dead, and tho police pursued them. Forty revolver shots were exchanged, killing' one fugitive and two policemen and wounding five others. The remaining murderers were arrested, The crowd attempted to lynch them.
