The secretary recommended that plantation reserves, sections 18, 19, 2Q, block 11, Stralh Tuieri, bo offered for lease bv tender for a term of 21 year*, with a reservation in the leaso that tho lward may resumo |iossession on giving 12 months' notice, should the land l>o required for plantation purposes, no valuation to bo allowed for improvements.—Tho recommendation was adopted. It was drcided to nccopt tho surrender of Mr William Drown's lease of sections 77, 78. and 79, block IX, Strath Taieri. as from November 1, 1911, Mr Drown having agreed to forfeit, his improvements if the surrender were granted. On the recommendation of the secretary it was resolved Lhat the land be sub-divided into five seelions, of about 12 acres each, and offered for lease for 21 years, in fepsiralo lots. The factor of the Otago IVshvtcrinn ["lurch Hoard of Property forwarded a. ropy of the arbitrators' award, fixing the rent for the rectory ground for the new term of lease at. £72 per annum.—Noted.
