A brief .summary of the evidcmco of tho "Antiquity of Man" in the light of recent discoveries is full of evolutionary information, being illustrated bv rcpriaU of photocraniis of skulls of corillas, the Nearderthal man (found in 1857), and tile modern man. But they represent only a tithe.of the contents, which for variety, charm, and distinction are characteristic of tho magazine.
