Carl Brede, a wiwrf labourer, who resided by himself in Walker street, was found dead in liia bed yesterday morning. Deceased, who wae about 50 years of age, had been an out-patient nt tho Hospital for soveral weeks for heart trouble, and this was apparently the cauhj of his death. A diligent fearch of the neighbourhood was made for eavoral days, but all efforts to discover hia whereabouts proved fruitless and it was only yesterday, after tho Inpso of several woeks, that his melancholy fato becams known, his body being found in the bush about two miles from Waitati An inquest will be held by the coroner ot Waitaii this morning.
