ADDIXGTOX STOCK MARKET. (Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Dcceiuber 8. At tho Aldington yards there were fairly large entries of stock, and a large attendance. Store sheep were rather irregular of sale, but thcro was littlo chp.ngc in prices. Fat lambs were firmer ill conscqucnce of (lie operations of export buyers, and fat sheep were easier. Fat cattle wero dull of salo at last week's rates. Pigs met with a poor sale, and dairy and store cattle sold well. Tho yarding of store sheep was a large one, all classes being well represented, but wethers wero in the largest proportion. Though there was a good attendance of buyers, tho salo was irregular, and prices fluctuated, though forward wethers were the only class that sold at former rates. Shorn ewes and lambs mado 5s 3d to 8s 3d, woolly wethers to 17s Gd. shorn to 13s 10d, lioggets to 13s Cd, and dry ewes 13s Bd. There was an entry of 1482 fat lambs, the quality not beng quite as good as that of last week. Export buyers came into tho market, for the first time this season, three of them bidding, but only two were purchasers. The largest buyer was, however, a speculator, a large sheep-owner, whose corn-petition put some life into the market. There wero 779 lambs bought for export, 613 by butchers, and 80 wero passfcd in. Tho general rango of prices was 10s to 123 Gd, heavier weights 12s 7d to 13s 6d, and a few extra I3s M to 14s 9d. The two export buyers paid lis 3d to 12s 7d, and the speoulstor gavo lis 8d lo 13s 9d, most of his lo(3 costing 13s 4d to 13s.

Tho range of pricos was: Woolly wethers 17s 10<t, primoishorn wethers 15s to 17s, lighter 12s 5d to 14s Gd, prime shorn cwos 12s 6d to 14s 9d, others lis to ■12s. There were 256 head of fat cattle penned, of average quality. The sale waa rather dull, but prices showed practically no change* Steers made £6 15s to £9 12s, heifers £5 12s Gd io £9, and cows £1 17s Cd to £9,— equal to 21s to for prime. 18s (kl to 20s 6d for medium, and 17s 6d to ISs Gd for cow and inferior beef per 1001b.

A small entry of store cattle met with a brisk sale, prices Bhowing ivn advance of 5s to 03 per head. Yearlings made 31s, 15 to 18-months £2 Is to £3 ss, two-year-old steere £1 Gs, two-year-- 1 Vfers £i 12s Gdl, three-year-old steers £5 2s Gd to 10a, and dry cows 30s to £4 7b Cd. A line of three and four-year-old steers made £6 ss.

Dairy cows were in fair demand at £3 10s to £8 2s Gd.

Pigs were entered in large iiumbcrß, hut they met with a dull sale at lower rates. Choppers realised 45s to G2s Gd. heavy baconers 45s to 593, and lighter 35s to 40s,—equal to 3|d to 3}d per lb; porkers 25s to 325,— equal to 4£d per lb; a few stores changed hands, the larger sorts making 24s to 30s, medium 16a to 235, and tlio hotter class of weaners 12s Gd to 21s.
