CHAMPIONSHIP RINKS. Kahuna v. St. Kilda. This match was played on Saturday, two rinks on eaeli green, and provided a most, interesting struggle. Kaituna were anxious to reverse their defeat of last year, while St. Kilda were determined to maintain the position they held. The wind was a disturbing factor at, St. Kilda, but nevertheless two very exciting, games were played, victory on this green finally resting with St. Kilda. by 6 points. C. T. Paterson early established a, strong lead over White, Iho score at one time reading 15 to 5 I in bis favour. White then came strongly, and a give-and-take game to the last head resulted in a tie. .A. Baillie mado a ureat tight with M'Curdy. His third scarce).? played up to his usual form, but Baillie was .nor and over asain equal to tho occasion. Kaituna never got the lead and went down by 6 points. The games on Kaihma Green wore remarkable for their fluctuations. Sanders was leading at the fifteenth head, .vhen Cameron got two 5 s in successive heads, and was never again caught. Payne accounted, for Sineaton (his old clubmate), although" ho had to play for his points.
