As the »esult of the conference with' the front benches, the Lords have agreed not to insist on their amendments to the Irish Land Purchase Bill. The Government yielded many points, but voted against, any amendment of clause 64, [or the' creation of an independent tribunal to hear, appeals against compu'eory acquisition!
I Lord Lansdowiie stated that his .vital point was still unsettled. ■'
