NATIVE APPEAL CASE,
LONDON, November 16. The Privy Council has granted power to appeal from tlie Native Appelate Court 111 the case of the Tainui tribe against Ngati Tahinga.
VICTORIAN WHEAT CROP. MELBOURNE, November 17. (Received Nov. 18, at 0.35 a.111.) The newspaper Leader estimates the Victorian wheat crop at 26,000,000 bushels, or an average of 12} bushels per acre. The exportable surplus is estimated at- 17,800,000 bushels..
