The St. Kilda Council met as usual on Tiwsady evening; present—Ors Gore, W. C. Cameron, J. D. Cameron, Allen, Ashton, Clark, ;J. ii. Maetlonald, Thompson, and Ewin;*. Cr Rtfbcrt.-c.ti sent an apology. In the unavoidable, ahsenco of the Mayor Cr Gore presided.

In accordance with notice, Cr MacdonaM moved motions rescinding previous resolutions, and then moved the following-- " That under the authority of section 29 of The Impounding- Act. 1908,'. the council, on and after Monday, November 22, 1909. hereby appoints sect.ons B.and 9, block XV! St. Kilda, to bo a public pound within the meaning of the act; public notice to be advertised. "That Ellen Hollander be appointed poundkeeper, she fo receive \u remuneration of her services half the poundage fees."
