NEW ZEALAND BOWLING ASSOCIATION.

A mooting of tlw council of the New Zealand Bowling Association was held in tlis Duncdin Club's navilion last evening-present-Messrs J. 11. Gallaway (j)vcsidont) C. Speight, J. J. Jlarlow, J. H. Hancock' G. Crow, 0. Balk, and James Taylor."" -Mr W. A. Scott, the official bowl-tester, was present by invitation.

The subject of using; Exwililo bowls came on for discussion. I' was resolved -that the English, Scottish, and Australian associations be communicated with, and in the meanwhile permission be allowed to us« Exeollite howls for the 1909-1910 reason. It was rcsolvcd-"-That the institution and rules of the .\cw Zealand Bowling Union be altered as follows :-(l) By omitting therefrom rules 15 and 17. (2) By inserting m hcu of rule 15 the words following : - Each centre on admission, and each year thereafter, before July 20, shall pay to the treasurer of the association a fee for each ordinary and honorary member of each club affiliated to.the centre at a rate
