Our Oamaru correspondent advises tint there died there yesterday morning Mrs Neil Fleming, relict of 'Mr Neil Femillg, of tho well-known firm of Fleming and Ilcdley. The dec:awd lady, who had attained ihe age. of 68 vear*, arrived in Oamaru along with her" husband 10 years ami, with the exception of a. few years spent iu Wellington, had lived in Oamaru since that, time. Mrs Fleming wa s well-known and widely respected, and the news of her death will be received with feelings of general regret. For eomo months sho had been practically bedridden so that death was not unexpected. Slio leaves a family of three sons (Messrs J. H. Fleming and ('. 0. Fleming, of Waikakahi, and Neil Fleming, of Wellington) and three daughters (Mrs The*. Watson, Mrs J. A. Macpherson, and Mis Wm. Hedey), all resident in Oamaru district. Mrs Fleming was a dnughlei of the late Mr John ltogerson, of IWer-on and Fleming, and w.-i.s predeceased by "her hwSnd about 10 years.
