ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
(Pes United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, February 11, A boy named .Jones, whose parents reside in Ponsonby, was drowned in a watcrholc at- Grey Lvmi this afternoon. The little fellow was in quest of tadpoles when he slipped into the water. The children with liiin were unable to render any help.
Alfred Goodby, a bricklayer's labourer, yesterday fell from the scaffolding of a building now being erected in Moray place, lie was wheeling a barrowload of bricks along, when be fell a distance of 10ft, bi.t, despite the Jong drop, he is apparently little the wo- -> of the mishap, lie was attended to by _.r Martin, after which he was removed to the Hospital. The mail is about 30 years of age, and lives in Cumberland street.
