CONGREGATIONAL HARRIERS.

PRESENTATION OF PRIZES. There was a good audience in 'the Moray Place Chiiroh Hall lash evening on Mw occasion of (lie presentation of the privses won during the season. The function'took the form of a concert, the it«ms contributed 'maintaining, without exception, a very high standard- The opening item was a pianoforte bolo by Mr D. Cooko, this performance being on the level of capacity usually associated with Mr Cooke's name. The accompaniment work, it may also be mentioned, was 'undertaken by this gentleman. The quartet "Sweet and low" by Mrs , Evans,. Miss Stuart, Messrs Hale and Ball followed, aud succeeding this Mr S. H. Osborne contributed a. recitation, "My Lady's Leap," being deservedy encored. Two further recitations from Mr J. Samson and Mr W. M'Callum, together with songs from Mr J. Jago (eaicared), and Miss L. Beimet, the violin Bob "Ave Maria", by' Mrs Wilson, and a duet from Mrs Evans, and Miss Stewart, comploted the first part, of the programme. The quartet "The woodland rose" by Messrs Hale, Armstrong, Jago, and Searle formed the opening item for the second portion, thie being followed by a song from Mr P. W. Scully. Mrs Wilson contributed another violin solo, aind Mre Monkman-Dempsfcer ,reeeived a recall for. her interpretation of the song "All through- the night," after which Mr E. Oviaiston gave a sang, being followed by a "quartet from Mrs Evans, mm Stewart, Messrs Hale and Ball. Mr S. H. Osborne, with a. fine recitation, coneluded the portion of the programme. The prize list -was as follows:— •_ One and Three-quarter Mile Handicap — J. Lamb 1. A. Homy. 2. .Three-mile Ohampiqnship-H. G, Wilson 1, T. P; Louronson 2./' Sealed Handicap (three miles).—A. Wilson 1, J. Lamb 2. Attendance Badges.-O. Goatlram, (second year), R. A. Gummer. A vote of thanks, proposed by the Rev w.'Saundere, was linammously tvecorded the performerp and club, officials for the Buccess of the evening. The club's president (Mr P.
