. GREYMOUTH, No/ember 24. Shotdd the sea continue calm, the tliff lerhwhitj will go/alongside the stranded steamer Hawca to-morrow morning. The first operation will be to ascertain that the hawsers, etc., are all in proper order and position, after which the IWhiti will' attempt to pump the water out of tho vessel. Should this prove successful it is anticipated that the vessel would rerain suiiicient buoyancy to'refloat, thus enabling her to.be towed back to the wharf.
